Flavor of Georgia Contest 2024 is back, If you want to take participate in this contest then you must register your product sample and paid in full by 5 p.m. EST Feb. 13, 2024 in order to eligible for this contest.

Note – Once you submitted your entry fees then you will not able to get it back. So if you really want to participate in this contest then you can pay entry fee otherwise not.

How To enter the University of Georgia Flavor of Georgia Contest 2024, follow these steps:

1. Registration: Register online at https://estore.uga.edu/C27063_ustores/web/store_main.jsp?STOREID=523&SINGLESTORE=true before submitting samples. All product details must be provided during registration. The deadline for registration and full payment is February 13, 2024, at 5 p.m. EST. Entry fees are non-refundable.
2. License: You need a valid food license or co-packer license at the time of registration. Contact the Georgia Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety Division for licensing inquiries.
3. Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on flavor, texture, ingredient profile, market potential, consumer appeal, and representation of Georgia.
4. Categories: Designate one entry category for each product during registration. Contest organizers have the final say on product categories.
5. Directory Inclusion: All applicants will be featured in the 2024 Flavor of Georgia directory on the contest website, using the information provided during registration.
6. Finalists: Three finalists per category will be notified by email on March 15, 2024, for the final round. Finalists must provide product samples and participate in the judging on April 4, 2024.
7. Titles and Logos: Finalists and winners will receive titles and Flavor of Georgia logos for product promotion. However, these may be revoked if rules are violated.
8. Decisions: Judges’ decisions are final, and scoring sheets will not be released.

Product Guidelines and Standards:

• Detailed submission instructions and the official mailing label will be emailed after registration.
• Only food products made by Georgia-based businesses are eligible.
• Submit two product samples on March 11-13, 2024. Samples received outside this window won’t be judged.
• Proper packaging is crucial. Label packages as ‘PERISHABLE’ with any additional instructions.
• The organizers are not responsible for improperly packed, mislabeled, late, damaged, lost, or stolen products.
• Presentation matters, as products will be professionally photographed for the product directory.
• Nutrition labels are not required, but products must be manufactured by a legally licensed facility.
• If preparation is needed for tasting, provide all necessary items, instructions, and lead time.
• All beverages and mixers should have a non-alcoholic option.
• By registering, you agree to the rules, guidelines, and standards, and confirm the accuracy of the provided information. You also indemnify the organizers against any claims arising from your participation. Rules and regulations may change.
